New "Ghostwriter" Reviews

The first comes from Melinda's Books, a new book review blog.

"I'm excited to review a book by an awesome author.  This author is new to the publishing world but not new to the many fans of her stories published on a fan site.

Ghostwriter by Lissa Bryan

Ghostwriter Summary:
Unemployed, with her savings dwindling, Sara Howell thinks things are looking up when she lands a ghostwriting job and rents the affordable island home of her favorite author, Seth Fortner, who mysteriously disappeared in 1925.

Strange things happen, making Sara wonder if Seth ever left. When she finds an old trunk of Seth’s letters, she delves into a world she never imagined, filled with love and a family curse it seems only she can break.

Ghostwriter Review: CONTAINS SPOILERS

Paranormal Romance...  not something I can say I've ever given much thought to.  However, Lissa Bryan brings forth an amazing story that made my heart race, my eyes tear and my mind spin.

Sara is down on her luck, surviving on ketchup and expired pickles, when an opportunity falls into her lap.  She can live on a private island home once owned by her favorite author, Seth Fortner.  How could she let the opportunity pass her by.

What follows is a heartwarming and heartbreaking story of love, war, loss and forgiveness.  Communicating with a ghost is strange enough, but to fall in love with one...  it can happen in dreams."

The second is by Jedigirlsc

"Ghostwriter is a love story with supernatural elements. Along with the romance of two unlikely people, there is a mystery that surrounds them. There are some suspenseful scenes that make the story a page-turner. There is great character development and after reading the Ghostwriter, the reader feels that they know these people and can cheer them on. It is a well thought out story with a satisfying ending. I had read the author's other writings, so I knew that this one would also be entertaining and suspenseful. Can't wait to read her next book!"

Thanks to both of these kind reviewers!
