“I wonder what Mistress Seymour thinks of this.”
Will chuckled. “In sooth, the girl seems to think little at all. I have yet to hear her say much more than ‘Aye, Your Majesty. Nay, Your Majesty. As you wish, Your Majesty.’ ”
“The perfect woman, then,” Emma said with a teasing smile.
Will rolled over, bracing himself on his elbows above her. “Verily, I prefer my women with a bit of spirit.” He lowered his head and nipped her shoulder. “And a bit of salt.”
